Proclaiming the Gospel with ex-Catholic Mike Gendron

We had the tremendous privilege this week of hosting Mike and Jane Gendron while they visited the Creation Museum. Mike was a Roman Catholic for 37 years who really fell hook, line and sinker for the false gospel of penance, mass, sacraments, etc. Praise the Lord that He opened Mike’s eyes to the fact that he was worshiping another jesus, a jesus who is not able to save completely from sins and who’s death on the cross is not sufficient for the forgiveness of all sins.

After being redeemed by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, Mike went to seminary and started up an evangelistic ministry called Proclaiming the Gospel (see www.pro-gospel.org) to Roman Catholics. He now travels the world preaching the true Jesus of the Bible who frees us from the bondage of legalistic rituals, vain prayers, idolatry, etc. simply by repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord I actually had the opportunity to proclaim the gospel with Mike Gendron to a professing Catholic! We tag teamed a man who said he was a Catholic but didn’t attend the church. I spoke with him for about 45 minutes. Please pray for this man.

Interestingly, the last few years it seems his ministry is broadening to include warning the church not only of the false religion of Roman Catholicism, but other false teachings and false prophets in the visible church such as the emergent church movement, easy-believism, etc. Below is an excerpt from one of his DVD’s called “Which Gospel?”. Each of his DVDs come with two stirring messages and I highly recommend them. I have just about all of his materials and they are excellent!

The second clip on the bottom is an excerpt from a message on “Catholics & Evangelicals: How Different Are We?”. Both messages are available on one DVD for purchase HERE.

Moral Relativism and the Laws of a Nation

Scott Klusendorf articulates three objections to demonstrate that moral relativism is flawed. 1) It is self-refuting. That is to say that it cannot live within its own rules. Relativists are fond of stating that “There are no absolutes”, yet they do not see the irony of making an absolute statement that just refuted itself. There is no moral neutrality. If relativism says it is wrong to force one’s absolute beliefs on another, is that an absolute belief? A person who is pro-abortion might say that it’s wrong for a Christian who believes abortion is murder to try to force their opinion on them. Within that argument the pro-abortion person is forcing their opinion on the Christian who is pro-life.

2) It is impossible for a consistent moral relativist to say anything is wrong, including intolerance. If all morals are relative, then who is to say that hatred or intolerance or bigotry is wrong. Perhaps these values are righteous in a certain culture. Who is to say that torturing babies for fun is evil? Perhaps it is culturally acceptable. I believe that every rational person would have to agree that it is wrong to torture babies for fun. The reason is because God has written His law on every person’s heart.

Romans 2:14-16 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. NASB (emphasis mine)

3) It is practically impossible to live out life as a moral relativist. As C.S. Lewis points out, a person who claims there is no objective morality will complain if you break a promise or cut in line. If you steal their car, they will protest loudly. But the thief could simply respond, “Who are you to judge me and say what I believe is right is wrong?” Clearly a moral relativist will be seen to have a double standard in real life. For all its cries for tolerance, in the end the relativist is not tolerant of some other’s views.

In essence, if there are no objective moral rules, there can be no rule that requires tolerance as a moral principle meant to apply equally to all. In fact, if there are no moral absolutes, that seems like a good reason not to be tolerant at all. Why not force my morality on others if it’s in my own self-interest and my personal ethics allow it? The fact is that there exists no morally neutral ground. Everybody has a point of view they think is right and everybody judges at some point or another. The Christian gets pigeon-holed as the judgmental one, but everyone else is judging, too. It’s an inescapable consequence of believing in any kind of morality.

In contrast to the professed moral relativists, the Biblical Christian believes in absolutes because the Bible says that God is the Creator of the universe and thus the owner of mankind so He sets the rules for what is right and wrong (good and evil). God has placed on the heart of every individual His absolute standard which is His moral law, the Ten Commandments. He has accomplished this in the form of the conscience. An individual can choose to listen to his/her conscience or ignore it. Whether an individual believes certain actions to be acceptable or not is irrelevant. Sins like lying, stealing, adultery, murder, blasphemy, etc. are wrong because God said so in His Word ( Exodus 20).

Everyone believes in some form of truth but their definitions are vastly different. For example, the Christian’s foundation is rooted in God’s absolute truth revealed in His Word, the Bible. God’s absolute truth is a foundation, an immovable point of reference. Since His truth never changes, right and wrong, good and evil can be determined from it. Those who rebel against God’s truth may be able to live with themselves for a while, but ultimately total autonomy cannot be lived with impunity. God calls us to an absolute moral law that is not only good by definition, but is good for us. God does not take pleasure in punishing unrepentant sinners who rebel against His law order, but ultimately He will meet out punishment because of His commitment to justice. We can see the heart of God in 2 Peter 3:9 where He states, “God is patient toward you, not desiring that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Take for instance the cases of slavery in America and prohibition. First of all, we must realize that all laws are moral. A law states what should be legal or illegal. As soon as you use the word should you are in the realm of morality. A law against rape is a moral law. A law that allows murder of unborn babies is a moral law. A stop sign is moral in that it is pushing someone’s or some government’s morality upon it’s citizens. The stop sign is telling us of the authority’s value or morality concerning order and safety (not all societies have stop signs).

Therefore a law for slavery is a moral law and a law against slavery is a moral law. The question becomes whose morality should legislators choose? This is where the value of the Biblical ethic shows itself strong. Society’s lawmakers need not go back and forth between one individual’s moral theory and another’s moral theory. Nor need a culture be ruled by only the strong and oppress the weak. Nor need a society be fearful of a simply majority rule declaring what is right and wrong. When a culture’s foundation is the word of God, then we see that might does not make right. The Creator God is the one who declares what is right and what is wrong. Because God is a good God, His laws are not burdensome for those who submit to His Lordship.

When Biblical morality influences a nation’s laws, we see that there need not be a law against drinking alcohol, as the Bible clearly shows godly people, including Jesus Himself, drinking alcohol. At the same time, there will be laws against being drunk as the Bible clearly states that to be drunk is a sin (many states have laws concerning being drunk in public). The reason why America has laws against murder is because of its Christian background. Murder is a sin in the Bible. The nation of Germany during the time of the Nazis did not have laws against murdering 6 million Jews. Ultimately morals will either come from the One who created man or man himself. Biblical principles must be the foundation of a country’s foundation and it’s laws. If a country were to be founded on moral relativism, chaos, anarchy, oppression and a host of other evils would result because there would be no absolute standard to appeal to. Everyone would be able to do what is right in his own eyes, rather than submitting to the Lordship of Jesus as the Creator and therefore the one who determines right from wrong.

Free online video “Last Days for Catholics”

This is a great free online video from ex-Catholic Mike Gendron. Last Days For Catholics DVD It was taken from a recent “Steeling the Mind” conference. While I was watching it, Stephen made a comment right after hearing Mike Gendron contrast two quotes. One from leading ecumenical leader Chuck Colson and the next from John MacArthur. MacArthur said “Catholicism is a false system. It is not the church of Christ, it is the church of the anti-Christ.” Right then, Stephen misheard and stated sternly with a furrowed brow, “Catholic church is not the church of Christ!” Pleasantly surprised I responded, “I know, that’s what he just said.” Stephen replied with the same statement “Catholic church is not the church of Christ!”, so I told him that this man was preaching the gospel. So finally he relented and said, “Oh.” Here is a four year old that was ready to contend for the faith against a false religion that is leading milions to hell! Praise the Lord! Stephen was ready to be a part of the earnestly contending against the earnestly pretending.

Oumar Answering an LDS Bishop after he sent an email

The main differences between Christians and Mormons I guess, is whether Joseph Smith is a prophet of God.
In the year of 1830 Joseph Smith presented the Book of Mormon as scriptures revealed to him by God.
Looking at the title page of the Book of Mormon it is said: Another Testament of Jesus Christ.
And it is precisely what I want to talk about here, because anybody that knows the Bible, will read the Book of Hebrews and find out this; Hebrews 9:14-18

14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

Now if you read the passage about the Last Supper you will see that Jesus our Savior says:
Matthew 26:27-28

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Note that Jesus is reinforcing the teaching of Hebrews by saying the exact same thing. In The Bible is the word and testament of Jesus Christ because he died for it and shed his blood. The testament of a person is not valid while alive but only take place after his death. Being visited by Mormon missionaries I showed them those verses in the Holy Scriptures and mentioned the song #27 of their hymns called praise to the man.and asked them to answer honestly to the following question;Who died for the book of Mormon? They said (at least the one who was leading the conversation) Joseph Smith! So in order for the book of Mormon to be another Testament of Jesus Christ, The same Jesus Christ would have need to die for it. But since only Joseph Smith died for the book of Mormon therefore the title page should read; A testament of Joseph Smith.

2- Since Joseph Smith claimed to be a prophet and he also introduced the doctrine of what Mormons call council in Heaven where Lucifer fell from Heaven before he is even created and therefore contradicting all Judeo-Christians fundamental beliefs. We need to reopen our Bible and read Genesis 1:1 which is by the way the beginning, and it says: In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Notice that the Lord doesn’t start with a council of the gods but rather: In the beginning was no one (but God), in the beginning was nothing and God the Almighty spoke everything to existence. The Lord God created everything from nothing. Then he went on and describe the days of creation. The Lord God created everything in 6 days and rested the 7th. After each day of creation the Lord says that there was an evening and a morning. After each day God called his creation good and after Genesis 1:31 which is the 6th day God calls his creation very good. Now genesis 2:1-3 says:

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Later on when God gives Moses the10 Commandments, he speaks about the Sabbath since he sanctified the 7th day in the verse you read above. You can read Exodus 20:11;

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The Lord repeats the same thing in Exodus 31:14-17: 1

4Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

After the end of the creation Yahweh is saying that everything was very good. So it is impossible for Lucifer to fall from Heaven before at least the end of the creation, God would not say that everything was very good if you have a devil running around trying to tempt people. Now to better understand what I am trying to say here, we need to know that Yahweh created EVERYTHING in six literal days and that include Lucifer and the angels because if you read Job 38:4-7;

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Lucifer couldn’t have fell from Heaven before he was created because when God laid the foundations of the Earth, all the Angels including Lucifer shouted of joy. The next clue we have is in Genesis 1:8-9 where God laid the foundation of the Earth the 3rd day. Meaning that all the Angels where created before day 3!

Now if you still with me, you can read Ezekiel 28:12-17:

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

It is clear to anyone reading those passage of scriptures that Lucifer was in Eden before he fell by rebelling against God and therefore was cast out.
There is absolutely no way Lucifer could fall from Heaven after only a long time the Earth was made and everything in it. If you read the book of Job Lucifer is running a report to God about what’s going on on Earth and the result of this conversation is the reason why all those things are happening to Job. The Mormon missionaries opened up their Bibles and showed me Revelation 12:7 where war broke up in Heaven and the Devil and his Angels were cast and there was no more place found for them in Heaven!
If you find a Ship that sank and you are trying to figure out when and let’s say you find a trunk with golden coins in it. You need to look at the dates on the coins! Say the youngest coins you find, dates 1759. You can conclude that the ship sank after 1759, right? So to come back to the Biblical account, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven at some point. But we know that he shouted of joy when Yahweh laid the foundations of the Earth (day 3).Was in Eden as the anointed Cherub (Eden was made on day 6), after the creation God calls everthing good.Lucifer was still allowed in Heaven during the time of Job! I don’t see anywheer Satan falling from Heaven as the Mormon Church describes it.So that doctrine of the council in Heaven where Lucifer fell from before he is created is simply Biblicaly impossible!!! So we can conclude that, this doctrine being the cornestone of the Mormon faith leaves serious doubt about Joseph Smith being called by God…
Romans 5:12 says that Adam brought death into the world by desobeing God., Mormons are preaching death before sin!!!

3- Jesus and all the writers of the Bible never prophecied a falling away of the Church but rather warned the saints against false doctrines. The God of the Bible said that he will be responsible tto preserve his words!

Read 1 peter chapter 1 verse 23-25
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Jude 3
3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 john
1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
2.
3Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever
4I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father

2 john 2:23-27
23Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
24Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
25And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
26These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1 john 4
1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 peter 2
1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2 peter 1:15 and 20-21
15Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 timothy 4:2-5
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

1 timothy 6:2-4
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1 timothy 4:16
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

1 timothy 4
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

1 thessalonians 1:4-6
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
6And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

Galatians 1:6-12
6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 corinthians 4
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world (satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

OK I think by now everyone who read this will surely where the Truth is but let’s finish with a Parable. I am not sure why Christian Pastors never quote that one. It is I think the least famous of the Parable of the sower…
It is found in Matthew 13:24
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

I am not going to interpret this for you but I am sure you understand it! But just in case you don’t, Jesus himself explains it. Here it is Matthew 13:36-43:
36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

All the Glory is of and for God! No one will pervert the Truth but it is true that not everyone believeth the Truth. Most important than going to Church or knowing more about the Truth is knowing for sure that when you die you are SAVED and going to spend eternal life with God.
The Bible teaches that we have all sinned and fallen short to the glory of God. If you can pray this simple prayer and mean it you will be SAVED because Jesus did it all at the cross.

Dear Jesus… I am a sinner and deserve to go to Hell for breaking all 10 commandments of the Law. I know you died for my sins, you are my Lord and Savior and I am so thankful Lord. I am coming before you to ask you to forgive me all my trespasses.Please put your blood in my account and put my name in the Book of Life. In your name I pray. Amen.

Great Video Explaining Mormonism

Oumar’s Email to a Mormon Friend

The following is an email from Oumar to a friend of his caught up in the LDS cult. I thought it was very encouraging to see that this one who formerly argued against Christianity is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy. PRAISE GOD!

I am sure you all heard of the big debate going on between Christians and Mormons about Faith and Works. Now we know that the Bible is the infallible Words of God, so let’s examine it to see what it tells us. All the religions of this world teach that Faith alone is not enough. Christians are saying: Jesus + Nothing = Salvation. No one is good enough for Heaven. Right after Adam sinned God said in Genesis 3:15 which is the first prophecy of the Bible.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Jesus was bruised in the heel in a symbolic way because of what Satan did. He caused the fall of Adam so Jesus was a propiation for our sins and he defeat sin by dying on the Cross. If someone strike your heel, you will fall but raise again on your feet because the heel is not a vital point. The word raise is what we are looking at here precisely. Jesus died on the Cross and was buried but rose after the third day. By doing so he defeated the work of the Devil so that sin has no more dominion over us. Jesus was the first announced and the last to come. And when Jesus was on Earth he said that he will be back for his second coming where he will crush Satan’s head once for good by defeating him, And the head is a vital point so if someone crushes you on you head then you know that it is death! All the Prophets of the Old Testament were preaching about Jesus until he comes to offer himself as a way back to Heaven.

Read Luke 16:15-17
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Of course, Jesus is saying that the Law is not canceled but rather fulfilled by Him. He is giving a parable next where the rich man died and went to hell but he begs Abraham to go send Lazarus to his father’s house to warn his brothers not to come here! But again the answer is;

Luke 16:29-31
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets (who announced salvation through Jesus); let them hear them.
30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

read Galatians 3:21
Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Galatians 2:22-29
23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Best verse I found about the Law was at Colossians 2:12-16
buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

It is not by works! But if you put everything to the context, the Church of Galatians were preaching a false gospel! They were teaching that Christ alone wasn’t enough but God was recording their works to be counted for their righteousness! So Paul had to write to them to correct them.

look at Galatians 3
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
4Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
5He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

If it’s not enough then please look at Galatians 1:6-12
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Paul is warning the Galatians about the false Gospel they were believing and preaching. When Jesus asked us to keep his Commandments he wanted us to be perfect! Matthew 5:48. Christians have attained that perfection because of their repentance and their confession of Christ. But the religions are working on it… Therefore rejecting the Grace of our Lord in Heaven. If you love me, keep my commandments! I love Jesus so no one needs to convince me to pray God daily and to keep Him first thing in my life, preach his Gospel and get involved in a good Bible believing Church. The Faith I placed in Christ saved me by the Works that He did!
The Law was given to us not to keep it and not to be saved by it but to live by it until Christ came and redeemed us from the curse of the Law. When God gave the Commandments he said in Deut 27:26; Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this Law to do them.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin his death but the free gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:20-21
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Living in Utah for a year now and studying the Mormon religion brought me to conclude that Mormons teach another gospel. Mormons are teaching that in order to be saved you need to keep the Commandments and the Law of Moses! It is not a new gospel but the same one or almost the same one that the Catholics believe… The Pharisees (which means separated) believed in self-righteousness and thought that they were worthy because of their works and also thought that observing the Law will save them. All the religions of this world teach that Faith alone is not enough but good work is a requirement to get to Heaven. Jehovah’s Witness believe that you need to do good works in order to get to the Kingdom of heaven. Believing in Jesus alone and confessing him is not enough. The Muslim religion denies Christ sacrifice for the remissions of sin and the Muslims think that they will all be justified by works! Now of course the answer is in the Bible.

Mormons are teaching that it is not finished! Jesus has done is part, now they need to do their parts. The gospel that they preach is a gospel of works and one has to deserve Heaven by tithing, fasting, going to Church and observing the word of wisdom, like the Pharisees they want to be separated and justified by works; abstaining from alcohol, tabacco, tea and coffee. Once the faithful Mormon agrees to keep all the Commandments above he is worthy to go to the Temple where they will teach him how to go to the Celestial Kingdom. Note that those who do not keep the word of wisdom are not allowed to the Temple and therefore Christ cannot help them get to heaven! But those semi faithful Mormons will be separated from God for all eternity. Of course Jesus never taught that but rather Joseph Smith himself. The Bible is teaching all throughout Scriptures that it is not by works but by the grace of our Lord in Heaven.
God never gave the Commandments expecting us to keep them or to be saved by them. But rather right after Adam sinned he said in Genesis 3:15 which is the first prophecy of the Bible.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 4
What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

The verse the religions hate the most is Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

No it is not a mistake! I posted it twice for you to repeat it because if some day, I have a child I will not teach him John 3:16 first, but this one verse! It says it all…
Well, let’s finish with a Parable.
And today we are looking at Matthew 20 which summarizes Christianity!
1For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16last: for many be called, but few chosenSo the last shall be first, and the first .

Believe it or not but what Jesus is saying here is that we are all going to the same place regardless of our work, if we have repented and received him as our Lord and Savior!!

I have repented and came unto Christ 2 1/2 years ago. I am SAVED and going to Heaven! Thank you Jesus! If you take the good American who was born and raised in a Christian family and repent at some point and confesses Jesus, he is SAVED and also going to Heaven! Take the 90 year old who have been Atheist all is life and served jail time for murder which have heard of Christ in that same jail but only repent on his death bed. Guess what? He is SAVED and going to the same place as me and that good American from Tennessee or wait… Louisiana! (I like there accent better).

Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Where is this verse in the Bible?
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son for whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish (in Hell) but have Everlasting Life(in Heaven).

Most important for you my Brethren is to know that when you die, you are SAVED form eternal Hell and going to Heaven with God for eternity, the Lord of Host.
Truth is what God says, and religion is what men says God said!
Let’s pray and mean it…

Dear God, I am a sinner and deserve to go to Hell. Please forgive me my trespasses as I am accepting Jesus today as my Lord and Savior. Everything I believed before is a lie and from today I am born again so everything I will learn will come from thy mouth O God! It is no longer me living but it’s Jesus living in me and taking away my sins and applying his blood into my account. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

    Only God exercising his powerful, effectual grace could bring this about in Oumar’s heart and mine.

The Mormon Puzzle DVD

Here’s a trailer for a video called “The Mormon Puzzle”. It is a good expose of this false religion. You can pick it up HERE. Speaking of Mormons, please remember to pray for Oumar as he is in Salt Lake City/Provo and is witnessing to tons of Mormons. Praise the Lord for this former Muslim who is so excited to share the truth and transforming power of the biblical gospel of grace.
