Greetings beloved brethren. This past week at His Hill Bible College was so full of ministry there was not a MINUTE to do ANY e-mailing. It was probably one of the most productive sessions and groups of students yet at His Hill and we praise the Lord for such a blessing, although it was non-stop.
We need some prayer for the upcoming ministry this Friday and Saturday in Decatur, TX, and then the time in CO next weekend and Mon-Tuesday there…..a little work on the talks to be done.
Please pray specifically for me (Jenna Dee) as I will be speaking for two ladies groups and need to get my material organized and specific.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
Isaiah 55:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.
John 12:35-36a
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:
Psalm 32:6a
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Isaiah 55:2
Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. (Seize the moment!)
John 7:6
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 9:4
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15,16
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
Psalm 39:4,5
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
John 4:34,35
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:9,10
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
Psalm 40:8
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:10
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name.
John 12:27-28a
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
II Timothy 2:13b
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:24
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:18-21
As we face this New Year of 2007 we would commend these verses to each of you to read and to allow God’s Word (which is TRUTH, it is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, and it CAN set us free) to permeate your hearts, minds, and souls (John 8:32, John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12). The Scriptures tell us that no man knows the day or the hour when the Lord will return for His church. If you died today, do you truly know where you would spend eternity? These Scriptures relay an urgency that we should all be thinking about in terms of eternal reality.
With the effects of over fifty years of “God is dead,” followed by the New Age Movement, the blatant influence of moral relativism (post-modern deconstructionism) and now the “ Emerging Church ” in our world and culture, we see these factors strengthening the move toward universal salvation and ecumenicism. This “one world” attitude is now setting the stage for what Scripture says will occur in the end times.
The Bible tells us that “narrow is the way and few there are that enter.” In a culture of instant communication and so much “knowledge” being available, why is it that the church has become more like the world in its Hollywood approach, and lacks the integrity of living out the Word of God as the absolute truth that it should be? We are no longer people set apart, there is no longer a COST of any kind for us, we want no part of suffering, but rather as we have mentioned before, “life on my terms, and the ten suggestions” is really the heart of the majority of the church in America today. As we review foreign missionary bulletins from around the world we are reminded of the COST that many endure daily to serve our Lord. It is our prayer that we will all take stock of our lives and what we are committed to—as Christians OR non-Christians. In what have we invested our time and resources? Any of us at any time of the day could be only “one heartbeat away” from eternity. How will we stand before the ONE who bought us with so great a price (I Corinthians 6:20)?
We would like to share some encouraging feedback with you from the producer of our four hour DVD series based on The Evolution of a Creationist—Does It Really Matter? He recently returned from ministry and filming in Romania and Latvia:
While in Romania, I met Tudor Petan, the president of a Christian television network called Alfa-Omega TV. His network is reaching about 2 million homes in South Eastern Europe and Northern Asia . A big part of their programming is dedicated to Creationism. Having grown up under communism, Tudor said all he was taught was evolution and humanism at its best. Now a Christian, he wants to re-educate his countrymen and others who suffered under the communist lies. A big part of that has to do with creationism. When I told him about your ministry, he started jumping up and down, because he has heard of you and had your book on his desk. Since I had a set of DVDs from your video series with me, I gave those to him. After watching them, he was excited to talk with you about broadcasting them on his network. He has an in-house team that translates materials from English and other languages to Romanian (some with captions, others with voice). Although many Romanians and Eastern Europeans speak English, the translation would help in reaching a broader audience. He said he could also translate the workbook into Romanian, print it at his publishing house, and offer it to viewers as they watch the series.
We are, needless to say, thrilled about this, and would ask for your prayers in this ministry effort. We are hoping to see the Burmese, Russian, Croatian, and now Romanian translation available in 2007. The Hungarian translation is being used and we have gotten good feedback from that as well as the Spanish. We continue to see God use the Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution in many ways around the world, and are always thrilled about reports we get about them and the ministry they are having. Please note our most recent website, solely to present our new DVD series (at bottom of page), and biblicaldiscipleship.org is still our home page.
Taryn and Mirren finished very well at Pensacola Christian College in their first semester of their doctoral history program. They will return for a pre-term course the 7th of January, and finish out their spring semester with a post-term one. They will turn in their dissertation topics for approval in the near future and would appreciate your prayers.
Again in 2006, we have experienced God’s faithfulness to us as we endeavor to fulfill the ministry He has led us in all these nearly 30 years (this was our 25th year out of seminary!). Our hearts are very thankful to the Lord and to so many of you who have generously and sacrificially supported us in prayer and resources, many of you for all of these years! THANK YOU, is so inadequate, but nevertheless sincere!! We need your prayers more than ever as we chart these new waters with our age and increasing frustrations and limitations that the decaying of the outer man brings (II Corinthians 4)! Jobe has not had the textbook perfect recuperation from the cardiac catheterization, and is now wearing a heart monitor for a month for the irregular heartbeat he has been experiencing.
